Google Pixel 9 series has again set the bar high for smartphone innovation. The series comprises three distinct models: the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro Plus, which are for different user preferences and needs. Unfortunately, in India Google has planned to release Pixel 9 Pro in September.
Build
The Google Pixel 9 has a solid polished back with a satin-finished metal frame and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 cover glass and back protection. This phone has a dimension of 152.8x 72x 8.5mm with a weight of 198g and IP68 Dust and Water-resistant. This phone comes with Ultrasonic In-display fingerprint scanner.

The Google Pixel 9 will get a 6.3-inch with 1080 x 2424 pixels FHD+ AMOLED display with 60 to 120 Hz refresh rate and this will go up to 2700 nits peak brightness and with the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
In Pixel 9 Pro we will get 6.3-inch 1280 x 2856 pixels 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with 1 to 120 Hz refresh rate and it can go up to 3000 nits peak brightness with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. And for the bigger brother they are giving the bigger screen of 6.8-inch 1344 x 2992 pixels QHD+ AMOLED display with 1 to 120 Hz refresh rate which can go up to 3000 nits peak brightness, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
Google is saying display namely Actua which they develop and colour calibrate in their labs.
Performance
As of the performance front Pixel 9, 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL have the same chip Google Tensor G4 processor with Titan M2 security chip which is a Octa-core processor with 1×3.1 GHz Cortex-X4 & 3×2.6 GHz Cortex-A720 & 4×1.92 GHz Cortex-A520 with a GPU of Mali-G715 MC7.
The Google Pixel 9 has 12GB LPDDR5X RAM with the storage options of 128GB / 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, which comes with Android 14 and 7 years of OS, security, and Feature Drop updates and this phone has Dual SIM with one nano and eSIM.
