POCO is gearing up to enter the tablet market in India with its first tablet, the POCO Pad 5G. After launching globally in May, the device will arrive in India on August 23rd at noon.
Himanshu, the Country Head of POCO India, confirmed the launch and called the POCO Pad the “ultimate companion” for users. Let’s dive into its key features.

The POCO Pad 5G offers a 12.1-inch LCD display with a 2.5K resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, 600 nits of brightness (HBS), and a 120Hz refresh rate. These features ensure smoother scrolling and vivid visuals, enhancing the overall viewing experience.
Performance
Powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, the POCO Pad 5G delivers strong performance. With up to 8GB of RAM, it handles multitasking and demanding applications with ease. The quad-speaker setup provides immersive audio, whether you are watching movies, gaming, or listening to music.
Battery
Equipped with a 10,000mAh battery, the POCO Pad 5G ensures long-lasting use. When it’s time to recharge, the 33W fast-charging feature quickly restores power, so you spend less time plugged in.
Although some specifications are still under wraps, the POCO Pad promises a user-friendly interface and seamless integration with other POCO devices. Its slogan, “Entertain All Damn Day,” highlights its focus on delivering extended entertainment.
