Vivo V40 vs Vivo V30: Design, Performance, and Feature Upgrades Compared

Today Vivo has launched Vivo V40 in India in this blog we are going to compare the previous phone Vivo V30 with V40.  This comparison will delve into the details of these devices, examining their sound capabilities, communication features, sensors, battery life, and more.  Let’s dive in and see how these smartphones stack up against each other.

Build
The Vivo V40 has dimensions of 164.2 x 75 x 7.6 mm (6.46 x 2.95 x 0.30 in) with a weight of 190g with a glass front, plastic frame, and glass back, and the Vivo V30 has 164.4 x 75.1 x 7.5 mm (6.47 x 2.96 x 0.30 in) with the weight of 186g with glass front, plastic frame and glass back which means slight changes here and there.

We can able to see Design changes in Vivo V40 series ,the new circular camera Module looks slightly more attractive than the predecessor

and V40 series comes with a matte finish which is much appealing and additionally V40 comes with IP68 rating

Display
The Vivo V40 has AMOLED, HDR10+, 120Hz, with a peak brightness of 4500 nits and 6.78 inches with a 90.1% screen-to-body ratio with a 1260 x 2800 pixels, 20:9 ratio resolution.  The Vivo V30 has AMOLED, 1B colors, HDR10+, 120Hz, 1200 nits, and 2800 nits of peak brightness and has 6.78 inches with 89.9% screen-to-body ratio which is the difference between V40 and V30.

Performance
The Vivo V40 and V30 have the same specifications which are given below Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 which is a 4 nm processor which 1×2.63 GHz Cortex-A715 and 3×2.4 GHz Cortex-A715 and 4×1.8 GHz Cortex-A510 and with the Adreno 720 and the two phones are now running Android 14 based Funtouch OS .

Camera
The Vivo V40 has a 50MP/50MP configuration wide and ultrawide with Zeiss optics and PDAF and OIS and the Front camera has a 50MP camera with AF which can take up to 4k 30 FPS.  In Vivo V30 50MP/50MP and 2MP, there are no Zeiss optics but the remaining are the same and the Front camera has 50MP which can also take 4K 30FPS video.

Battery
The Vivo V40 Comes with a larger 5500mAh Battery and supports 80W Wired charging

Connectivity
As per the connectivity, both Vivo V40 and V30 have the same as they use the same processor with 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G connections and WiFi and USB C 2.0.
