Pixel is rolling out its latest feature of Satellite SOS feature as an update to the Pixel 9 users in USA as was told in the Pixel 9 event. This feature will be available on other mentioned countries in the future by one-by-one in the future updates. The Satellite SOS feature will be available free for two years in the USA. This Satellite SOS feature is provided by Skylo and the emergency response will be handled by the Garmin.

Apple already has Satellite SOS kind features on their iPhone and Apple Watch Ultra which in many ways helps the people who hike a lot. There are some reported incidents that recovery of some lost persons when they hike. Let’s see how Google’s Satellite SOS will shine.

Satellite SOS is free for the first two years after activation.
